Water Disinfection Units
Maintenance

All units are designed to require minimum maintenance. There are no moving parts and run continuously at a very low electrical and maintenance cost. The UV lamp(s) require replacement every 12 months. Filters can be supplied as an optional extra, which will need cartridge replacement when the flow rate decreases through the unit.

Technical Specifications
PCS Unit
Our PCS Unit is the most basic of our commercial units. The unit still uses our high quality Australian Made 316L Stainless Steel cylinder, and Australian Made lamp, yet does not include extra features such as hour run meter. The cylinder and lamp connect directly to a ballast which can be plugged into a standard 240V power outlet. This ballast includes lamp fault indication. By removing all the extras, we are able to supply a unit which is still of a very high standard of manufacture, works just as efficiently in disinfecting water, but at a very affordable price to the customer. These units are built to the WaterMark Certification standard.
P Series Units
Our P-Series Units utilise Low Pressure Mercury Vapour (LPMV) lamps with the cylinder utilising our high quality Australian Made 316L Stainless Steel cylinder. Built onto a baseplate with all electrical contained within an electrical compartment, the units run off a 240V standard power outlet, and include hour run meter, lamp fault indication as well as voltage free contacts. All P-Series units are WaterMark Certified.
PAL Series Units
Our PAL Series Units utilise amalgam lamp technology. These units are similar to the P-Series units, however, by utilising amalgam lamp technology these units are able to treat much larger amounts of water to the same level of disinfection, all with fewer lamps, therefore resulting in a cost saving for the customer not just for the initial purchase, but also long into the lifetime of the unit. These units are built to the WaterMark Certification standard.
CAL Series Units
Our largest range of units, these systems are able to treat capacities from 35,000 L/hr and above. Once again utilising amalgam lamp technology, these units are manufactured in Australia to produce fantastic disinfection potential, at a large cost saving compared to using standard LPMV lamps. These units use Table 'E' flanged inlet and outlets, include hour run meter, lamp fault indication as well as voltage free contact and 5V DC connections.

1. All above units are cylinder units.
Multiples of these can be manifolded together and switched to suit variations of flows.
2. Units with inlet and outlets up to 50mm (2") are external BSP thread. 80mm (3") and above use table 'E' flanges.
3. All capacities shown are calculated at a 50% UV transmission of the water to be disinfected. All units are designed to obtain a UVC of 36 mJ/cm2 at the end of lamp life of 8,500 hours.
4. Dimensions shown are indicative only and subject to change. Certified drawing will be issued on official order.
5. With the UV disinfection of water; the flow capacity of each unit's flow rate varies depending on the transmission of UVC through the water to be disinfected.
6. All capacities shown on the list are at 50% transmission as stated, and each unit's flow rate varies to different degrees at other UVC transmission values.
Discontinued Models
All AUVS Commercial Water Disinfection Units are Australian Made to the highest standards, and utilise ultra violet light to disinfect the water that passes through the unit, inactivating viruses and bacteria without the use of Germicides, Oxidants, Algaecides, Chemical Precipitants or even Chlorine. The unit connects directly onto the water supply and plugs into a standard 240V power point.

We only use high quality 316L Stainless Steel for all wetted components, and all units are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
